_The Richard Henson Wellness Center at the Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Building offer a wide
variety of programs & services targeted towards addressing the
health concerns and needs of older persons are offered through the
Henson Wellness Center. There are new classes added regularly! See
our activities calendar for our current offerings and refer to pricing below for information about the various membership options.
If you are interested in attending our facility to exercise individually or in one of our exercise classes you need to download and complete these two forms. Remember to bring them with you when you come to the gym: Personal Health Form and Physician's Release.
In addition to the Richard Henson Wellness Center, MAC's other health programs include education & screening activities, in-home services, Senior Care, respite services for the caregivers of Alzheimer's patients, Alzheimer's support group, and the Older Adults Waiver Program. Health Education & Screening
The Senior Health Program offers health promotion and disease prevention activities designed to promote and maintain the older person's levels of physical and mental well-being. Additional programs and services will soon be available through The Henson Wellness Center @ The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Building. Health fairs, nutrition screening & counseling, blood pressure screening, dance & movement classes are examples of the various activities offered through the Senior Health Program.
