Multi-service centers in Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester Counties are a focal point for senior programs. Center staff members emphasize preventive health care techniques and proper nutrition in their senior center programming. Information and referral, transportation, and escort, outreach, and shopping assistance ensure adequate access to community facilities and resources. The centers also provide activities for fitness, special instruction classes, employment counseling, and arrange recreational trips for participants.
